2. Scope of Application

These Terms govern your use of our website and the purchase of products and services via volteraglobal.de and volteraglobal.com. By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

3. Contract Formation

Your order is a binding offer. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email. We may refuse orders in cases such as pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.

4. Products and Availability

We aim to display products accurately, but minor deviations (e.g., color, technical updates) can occur. Availability may change and products can be modified or discontinued at any time. For photovoltaic (PV) systems and installation services, feasibility depends on site assessment (e.g., roof suitability, grid requirements).

5. Prices, VAT and Payment

All prices are in euros (€). VAT treatment depends on product category and legal eligibility:

Photovoltaic components (e.g., modules, inverters, batteries, essential mounting/electrical parts) and related residential installations may qualify for 0% VAT in Germany if legal requirements are met (e.g., ≤30 kWp and other conditions under §12(3) UStG). If eligibility is not met, 19% VAT applies.
E-bikes and e-scooters: 19% VAT.
EV accessories (e.g., wallboxes, cables, adapters, racks): 19% VAT.

Accepted payment methods include Shopify Payments, credit/debit cards, PayPal, and bank transfer. Payment must be received before shipment or scheduling of installation.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for carrier delays, customs, or events outside our control. Risk passes to you when the goods are handed over to the carrier. Report transport damage to the carrier and to us within 5 working days.

7. Installation Services

PV installations are performed by our team or authorized partners in line with applicable German standards (e.g., grid connection requirements). You must ensure access, permits, and a compliant electrical environment. Final invoicing occurs after completion and handover. If you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 7 days in advance.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy. Custom-configured items, electrical components that have been installed or used, and goods not suitable for return for hygiene/safety reasons may be excluded except in case of defects. Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

9. Warranty (Gewährleistung) and Manufacturer Warranties

Statutory consumer rights under German law apply (generally 24 months for consumers; 12 months for businesses for certain claims). We also pass through manufacturer warranties where available. Damage caused by improper use, incorrect installation not performed by certified personnel, or external events is excluded.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, product names, images, and designs on the site are owned by Voltera Global UG or licensors. Any use beyond normal browsing and purchasing requires prior written consent.

11. Liability

We are liable for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and only for foreseeable, typical damages. Liability for indirect or consequential damages is excluded where legally permissible. Nothing limits liability for injury to life, body, or health.

12. Relationship with Shopify

Our store runs on Shopify. Shopify provides the technical platform but is not a party to contracts between you and Voltera Global UG.

13. Data Protection

Processing of personal data follows our Privacy Policy and applicable GDPR rules.

14. Feedback and Reviews

If you submit feedback or reviews, you grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and display that content in connection with our Services. You confirm you have the necessary rights and that your content is lawful and accurate.

15. Errors and Corrections

We may correct errors, inaccuracies, or omissions (including pricing and availability) and update information or cancel orders where necessary.

16. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Services for unlawful activities, infringe rights, transmit malware, scrape data, or interfere with security or site operations. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

17. Termination

We may terminate access at any time for cause. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

German law applies, excluding the UN Sales Convention (CISG). Place of jurisdiction is Aachen, Germany, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. The EU ODR platform is available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr . We are not obliged and not willing to participate in consumer arbitration proceedings.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal or operational changes. The current version is published on this page. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance.
